Ukrzaliznytsia has announced the launch of a new train service linking Kyiv and Bucharest starting from October 10. This was reported by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development on Saturday.
The train will operate daily, passing through cities like Vinnytsia, Zhmerinka, Mohyliv-Podilskyi, Velchynets, Ungheni, and Iași before arriving in the capital of Romania.
Departure from Kyiv is scheduled for 06:30, with arrival in Bucharest at 06:47 the following day.
The return trip will leave Bucharest at 19:10, arriving in Kyiv at 19:41 the next day.
The train will arrive at Bucharest's central station – Gara de Nord, where express trains to the airport operate regularly.
The ticket price in a sleeper car will be approximately 3800 UAH.
