Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that 25 «terrorist towers» have been destroyed since the launch of an expanded ground offensive in Gaza.

Katz stated that these «towers of terror» were eliminated to remove any threat of sniper fire from maneuvering forces.

«If Hamas does not release the hostages and lay down their arms, Gaza will be devastated and become a monument to the atrocities and murderers of Hamas,» Katz declared.

Meanwhile, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), over 400,000 Palestinians have fled the city as Israeli troops continue their ground operation. Approximately 600,000 people remain in Gaza.

Canada has condemned Israel's ground offensive in Gaza.
