A new training center for heavy machinery operators, including excavators, cranes, and bulldozers, is set to be created in Ukraine with the support of South Korea.

This initiative was announced by the Ministry of Community Development and Territories, indicating that the center is part of a cooperation memorandum signed in Seoul between the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Ukraine and the Korean Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (KOCEMA).

The center will be equipped with state-of-the-art simulators and machinery from Korea, enabling Ukrainians to receive practical training to high standards and quickly develop professional skills for reconstruction.

"This will allow us to train individuals using modern equipment and simulators to high standards, provide employment for veterans, women, and youth, and accelerate the restoration of infrastructure in communities," emphasized Oleksiy Kuleba, the Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine.

The memorandum also includes the participation of Korean manufacturers in restoration projects in Ukraine, covering equipment supply, demonstrations, and consultancy support.

It is worth noting that the State Agency for Restoration recently signed a cooperation memorandum with SG, a leading asphalt concrete producer in South Korea.
