You can now request a paper criminal record extract with an apostille through the online service «Unified Window for Citizens» or via the mobile app «Diia».

This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko on Telegram.

"Just yesterday, this service could only be obtained in person at the Ministry of Internal Affairs office in Kyiv, but today it’s available in just a few clicks," the minister stated.

To receive the certificate, you need to log in to the «Unified Window for Citizens» or the «Diia» app, fill out the electronic form, and choose «paper extract» along with your preferred method of delivery: at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the nearest Ukrposhta branch, or by courier.

On the «Unified Window for Citizens» website, you can order the criminal record extract both with and without apostille.

The processing time for the extract can take up to 30 days, and an additional 5 days if an apostille is required. You can track the entire process online.

Klymenko noted that this is one of the most popular services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: this year alone, Ukrainians have already ordered over 44 thousand paper extracts, with more than 33.5 thousand having apostilles.

The press service of the Diia State Enterprise added that the service is available to users aged 14 and older who are registered in Diia, have a tax number, and either an ID card (biometric passport or residence permit).

To use the service, you need to update the app, choose «Criminal Record Extract» in the «Certificates and Extracts» service, fill in the necessary data, and choose the document format – digital or paper.
