A significant number of Ukrainian children have returned to Ukraine from temporarily occupied regions.

This information was announced by Bring Kids Back UA and the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, via Telegram.

Direct quote: "Over the years of occupation, these children experienced oppression, coercion, and the imposition of Russian propaganda, and today they are safe and receiving necessary assistance in Ukraine".

According to Yermak, among the rescued are sisters whom the occupying authorities attempted to send to an orphanage after their mother’s death, children forced to sing the Russian anthem and participate in propaganda events with Russian military personnel, as well as a teenager who was put on military registration despite health issues.

“Today, they are all receiving support: restoring their documents, undergoing psychological rehabilitation, and getting help to start a new free life,” Yermak reported.
