A new phase in drone production is being launched between Ukraine and Denmark. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this during a briefing with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.
"We are currently enhancing co-production with European countries. The first line has already begun operations in Denmark. We have reached agreements, and production is now underway. We will be opening more lines with other European nations", – stated Volodymyr Zelensky.
It is important to note that on July 4, Ukraine and Denmark signed an agreement allowing Ukrainian defense manufacturers to export technologies. Additionally, Denmark will allocate €1.26 billion this year for long-range Ukrainian drones.
Moreover, Ukraine is also collaborating on drone technology with other countries. At the MSPO 2025 exhibition in Poland, a delegation from Taiwan's defense industry signed memorandums of cooperation with Polish and Ukrainian partners in unmanned technologies.
Earlier reports indicated that Ukraine and the Philippines are planning joint drone production as well.
