Today in Lviv, people are saying goodbye to Andrii Parubiy, who served as Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada and was a member of parliament from the "European Solidarity" party. He was killed on August 30.

The funeral service began at 12:00 PM at the Archcathedral of St. George. People started gathering at the church grounds more than an hour prior to the start. Family, colleagues, party members, friends, and the residents of Lviv came to pay their respects.

At 1:30 PM, a city-wide farewell ceremony will begin at Rynok Square. The politician will be buried at the Lychakiv Cemetery.
