On August 29, a day of mourning is observed in Kyiv in memory of those who lost their lives in the mass attack on August 28.

Today, flags are flown at half-mast on all municipal buildings in the city. It is also recommended to lower national flags on both state and private properties. On August 29, all entertainment activities are prohibited in Kyiv.
