On August 24, the National Bank of Ukraine launched a unique set of silver coins in celebration of Independence Day — «State Symbols of Ukraine».

This set highlights the core attributes of our nation — the Coat of Arms, the Flag, and the Anthem.

The symbols that surround us can unite people or divide them, and national symbols serve as a powerful reminder of the values we all share.

«This is a sign and meaning understood by millions of Ukrainians worldwide.

I proudly introduce another numismatic achievement we prepared for Ukraine's Independence Day», said NBU Chairman Andriy Pyshnyy.

This commemorative coin set «State Symbols of Ukraine» is made of silver and dedicated to the fundamental attributes of Ukrainian statehood — the coat of arms, flag, and anthem.

The Trident is a legacy of the Kievan State of Volodymyr the Great, symbolizing unity, freedom, and the right to self-determination.

The blue and yellow Flag represents the colors of the sky and wheat, symbolizing prosperity and the natural wealth of Ukraine.

The Anthem «Ukraine Has Not Yet Perished» is a song that has uplifted the nation's spirit for over a century and calls for resistance.

«The symbols of our state live in the hearts of each of us. They unite generations, shape national memory, and remind us that freedom is a value we must cherish! They are immortalized on coins to remind us: Ukrainian independence has a strong foundation — our unity, dignity, and memory», emphasized the NBU Chairman.
