Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, together with First Lady Olena Zelenska and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, visited the Memorial Wall in Kyiv to honor the memory of fallen heroes.

The corresponding video was shared on the president's Telegram channel.

“This is a place of memory and great respect. Here lie the names of those who gave their lives for our independence and freedom. Today, together with First Lady Olena Zelenska and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, we honor the fallen defenders of Ukraine. We cherish the memory of each one of them. We honor their deeds and everything they did to ensure Ukraine lives on. Eternal gratitude and glory to the heroes,” the statement read.
