The Ukrainian "Flamingo" missile will soon enter mass production. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this during a press meeting on August 20, according to "RBK-Ukraine".

"By December, we expect an increase in the number of missiles. Mass production should begin by the end of December or in January-February, depending on the success of tests and funding for the program," he stated.

Zelensky also revealed that the initial tests of the missile have already taken place.

"This missile is the most successful we have. It can fly a distance of 3000 kilometers, which is significant," he emphasized.

At the same time, he added that it is too early to disclose details about the missile, as there is currently no capability for its large-scale application.

Earlier, information emerged that Ukraine had begun serial production of the "Flamingo" missiles, and the first launch videos were published. Journalists from "Mirror of the Week" reported that the missile has a warhead weight of 1150 kg and a range of 3000 km, allowing it to destroy nearly any previously unreachable targets behind enemy lines. The missile is also protected against electronic warfare.
