In Dunaevtsy, police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a bus accident that occurred today, August 17, around 4:30 PM near the village of Mitsivtsi in the Novodunaevetska community. The incident involved a collision between a ‘Hyundai Santa Fe’ driven by a 41-year-old resident of Polonne and a ‘Mercedes-Benz Sprinter’ bus driven by a 55-year-old man from the village of Bohdanivtsi. As a result of the accident, the bus driver and his 15 passengers, including two children, sustained injuries. Medical personnel transported the injured to Dunaevtsy Multidisciplinary Hospital. Authorities are currently clarifying all details of the incident and considering the opening of a criminal case.
