Due to a sudden flood in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region in northern China, at least eight people have lost their lives, while four others are reported missing.

According to local authorities, the disaster occurred around 10 PM on Saturday in the upper reaches of the river. At that time, 13 tourists were camping in the area. As of 10 AM on Sunday, one person had been rescued. Authorities have confirmed the deaths of eight tourists, with four more still missing. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
