The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that a fire on July 12 near the cooling towers of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) did not affect radiation levels and does not pose a nuclear safety threat.

IAEA personnel observed the fire from the administrative building of the station.
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi confirmed that no increase in radiation levels was recorded during the incident, there is no threat to nuclear safety, and no injuries occurred.
