A tragic incident occurred in Arizona, where a medical transport plane crashed while heading to a hospital. Four lives were lost in this unfortunate event.

According to the police, the crash took place at approximately 12:40 PM local time, near the town of Chinle on Navajo territory.

"The small aircraft was en route to a nearby hospital to pick up a patient when the accident happened," stated the Navajo police.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) confirmed that the aircraft involved was a Beechcraft 300.

NTSB spokesperson Sarah Taylor Salik indicated that a team of investigators is already on its way to the crash site.

"They are expected to arrive this evening. Upon arrival, they will begin documenting the crash scene and inspecting the aircraft, which will then be taken to a secured facility for further examination," said the NTSB spokesperson.
