The Verkhovna Rada has approved a new bill that restores the powers of anti-corruption agencies – NABU and SAP.

A total of 331 parliamentarians voted "in favor" of the presidential bill:
- "Servant of the People" – 214;
- "European Solidarity" – 27;
- "Fatherland" – 4;
- "Voice" – 16;
- "Platform for Life and Peace" – 17;
- "Restoration of Ukraine" – 9;
- "Party of Future" – 11;
- "Trust" – 17.
- Non-factional – 16.
No one voted "against". Additionally, no one abstained from voting. 9 deputies did not participate in the vote.
The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office will independently oversee the investigative processes of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, without control from the General Prosecutor.
Furthermore, within six months after the law comes into force, the Security Service of Ukraine must check the employees of NABU, SAP, and other agencies with access to state secrets for any connections with the aggressor state.
Every two years, these agency employees will undergo internal checks using a polygraph, as per the methodology agreed upon with the Security Service.
