The "Lybidska" station on the "blue" line of the Kyiv metro has been temporarily closed to passengers due to the discovery of a suspicious object.

This was reported by the Kyiv Metro via their official Telegram channel.

"A suspicious object has been found at the "Lybidska" metro station. For safety reasons, the station is temporarily closed for passenger entry and exit."

Trains are currently passing the "Lybidska" station without stopping.

An explosives disposal team has been called to the scene.
