In Ternopil, an explosion occurred in a high-rise building on Vynnychenka Street, leading to the deaths of two individuals.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Ternopil region.

“On July 25, around noon, a call was received by emergency services regarding an explosion on Vynnychenka Street,” the report stated.

It was noted that the explosion took place on the third floor of the building. During the inspection of the apartment, police found the bodies of two individuals – a man and a woman.

Preliminary information indicates that they were a son born in 1985 and a mother born in 1958.

It has been tentatively established that a military grenade F-1 detonated in the apartment.

Police and other relevant services are currently working at the scene.
