The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has signed two significant laws concerning the extension of martial law and mobilization in the country.

The document titled "Approval of the President of Ukraine's Decree on the Extension of Martial Law" № 4525-IX has been returned to the Parliament with the President's signature, as reported by Ukrinform, referencing information from the Parliament's website.

Additionally, on July 25, the law project titled "Approval of the President of Ukraine's Decree on the Extension of General Mobilization" № 4524-IX was signed.

"According to the new laws, martial law in Ukraine is extended from 05:30 on August 7, 2025, for a period of 90 days. The term of general mobilization is also extended for the same duration. This decision is justified by the ongoing aggression from the Russian Federation," the press service of the Verkhovna Rada emphasized on Telegram.
