The IDEF-2025 international arms exhibition in Istanbul features products from Ukrainian defense enterprises, marking one of the largest events in the defense industry in the region.
"Our booth showcases 17 Ukrainian defense companies. We strive to participate in all leading arms exhibitions as it is crucial for production development, establishing cooperation with our partners, finding potential buyers, and sharing experiences," said Serhiy Honcharov, executive director of the National Association of Defense Industry (NAUDI).
Ukrainian exhibitors include manufacturers of UAVs, electronic warfare systems, armored vehicles, weapons, and munitions, as well as battlefield management systems and other innovations.
"Ukraine is at the forefront of advanced technologies because, unfortunately, we are engaged in an active struggle against a powerful adversary. Our soldiers gain valuable experience, and our advantage as defense producers lies in direct feedback from combat units. Understanding this, foreign customers are interested in what is relevant among our manufacturers and what might be applicable for their countries," explained Honcharov.
He mentioned that the products of Ukraine's defense industry attract significant interest from defense ministries of many countries, making the NAUDI booth always bustling with visitors.
The National Association of Defense Industry (NAUDI), established in 2020, unites leading Ukrainian manufacturers of military and dual-use technologies, weapons, and ammunition. Currently, NAUDI's enterprises are key suppliers to Ukraine's Ministry of Defense and other military formations.
The IDEF international defense exhibition is a renowned global platform for showcasing defense technology products, featuring around 1500 companies from over 50 countries.
The IDEF-2025 exhibition is taking place in Istanbul from July 22 to 27. This year, nearly a thousand local companies and over 400 foreign firms are exhibiting. The event expects participation from 219 delegations from 100 countries and international organizations.
