The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that the strike targeted the main gates of a military facility. They also mentioned that operations are ongoing in southern Syria.

According to the IDF, Israel is "prepared for various scenarios" and is acting to protect its allies - a religious minority that Israel is committed to safeguarding.

The IDF also stated that it will continue to attack regime forces until they withdraw from the Suwayda region.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the army will "soon increase the level of responses against the regime if the messages are not understood".
