Sibiha Unveils Major Changes at the Foreign Ministry
This week, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine introduced a new organizational structure. According to Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiha, this new structure aligns with the realities of war and best European diplomatic practices. Specifically, the disarmament department will no longer exist. Instead, there will be a Department of International Security and Defense of Ukraine. The management of the USA and Canada will be separated from the Latin America and Caribbean department, as it represents a distinct area of work. A special representative will focus solely on African issues. The Middle East and North Africa (the so-called MENA region) will be established as a separate department.
