The Ukrainian Embassy in the Philippines hosted a special event to commemorate Constitution Day. The operational director of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, Daria Zarivna, delivered the opening remarks online.

She expressed gratitude to the Philippines for their support of Ukraine's sovereignty and emphasized the importance of protecting children's rights, particularly in the context of the systematic deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia.

«The Bring Kids Back UA initiative, established by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, works daily to locate, return, and reintegrate every abducted child. So far, we have managed to bring back over 1,300 children. However, thousands still remain in occupation or have been taken to Russia,» noted Daria Zarivna.

The advisor also pointed out that the international community, especially the Philippines, can make a significant contribution to the return of Ukrainian children. She called for joining the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children, which already unites 41 states and the Council of Europe.

«I urge you to remember: thousands of Ukrainian children are deprived of their childhood due to Russia's criminal actions. But with your help, we can bring them home. After all, children are not commodities to be traded,» emphasized Daria Zarivna.
