On Thursday, June 12, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius made an unannounced visit to Kyiv for political discussions.

It is noted that the German defense minister arrived to personally assess the current situation in Ukraine and to discuss further military assistance with representatives of the Ukrainian government in the fight against Russian aggression.

“We are doing everything we can to support Ukraine so that it can defend itself and be in a position when Russia is ready for serious negotiations,” said Pistorius before his trip.
