Ukrzaliznytsia has placed an order for 95 new coaches at the Kryukov Vehicle Works for over 5 billion UAH.

This was reported on the «Prozorro» platform.

On June 6, following a tender, Ukrzaliznytsia signed a contract with Kryukov Factory for the supply of 95 sleeper coaches worth 4.475 billion UAH excluding VAT, totaling 5.37 billion UAH with VAT.

Under the agreement, the company will receive 88 coaches of type KUP (sleeper compartments with a conductor's rest area) and 7 coaches of type KUPI — designed for passengers with disabilities and with a conductor's compartment.

The price for one KUP coach is 46.895 million UAH excluding VAT (56.27 million UAH including VAT), while the KUPI type costs 49.8 million UAH excluding VAT (59.76 million UAH including VAT).
