In Zaporizhzhia, law enforcement officers participated in the planting of trees to commemorate Ukrainian defenders who perished as a result of Russian aggression. Together with the families of the fallen soldiers, they planted saplings on the territory of Khortytsia island.
According to the police, the event served as a symbolic gesture of remembrance and gratitude to the heroes. The families of the deceased and law enforcement officials planted young trees as a sign of continuity of life and respect for those who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine.
The police added that the planted saplings will act as a living reminder of the defenders' feats and will preserve their memory for future generations.
