A large-scale blood donation event occurred in Sumy, initiated by the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv and Sumy regions. Over fifty law enforcement officers and civil servants participated in this initiative.
Police officers from Kharkiv, together with specialists from the Kharkiv Regional Blood Service, traveled to Sumy to support their colleagues and conduct a crucial blood donation. Police, national guards, rescuers, border guards, and doctors — each of them took an additional step towards saving lives beyond their daily duties.
One donation saves three lives. In times of war, these numbers take on profound significance, as donated blood becomes a lifeline for those defending our freedom and for civilians affected by enemy shelling.
Soon, the collected blood will be provided to those in greatest need. This serves as a reminder that humanity and support are the strongest weapons in difficult times.
