On September 1, 2025, a documentary film about the Ukrainian Armed Forces veteran Stepan Korobkin premiered at the Respublika Park shopping mall in Kyiv.
The film narrates the event of December 12, 2024, when the veteran, with the support of record-holder Tetiana Yalovchak, ascended Africa's highest peak — Kilimanjaro (5895 meters), choosing the challenging Machame route.
Stepan Korobkin set a record with an amputated right arm. He underwent osteointegrative prosthetics and rehabilitation at the ‘TYTANOVI’ center.
His background includes participation in combat operations since the ATO, severe injuries, amputation, and 32 surgeries.
Stepan Korobkin's story exemplifies that nothing is impossible, emphasizes Viacheslav Zaporozhets, founder and head of the ‘TYTANOVI’ rehabilitation center.
“Each of our patients faces their own challenges after injuries, but the strength of spirit, family support, and modern rehabilitation methods can return them to an active life. Climbing Kilimanjaro is not just a sporting achievement, but a symbol of victory over circumstances that inspires other veterans to fight for their future,” adds Viacheslav Zaporozhets.
At Respublika Park, they highlight their openness to such projects that showcase the resilience of Ukrainians.
“Stories like Stepan Korobkin's demonstrate incredible will to live and inspire us. We are proud and support joint charitable initiatives with our partners,” says Yuliya Shchaslyva, CEO of the Respublika Park mall.
The film featuring Stepan Korobkin is available for online viewing via the link.
We encourage caring individuals to contribute to the charity fund for titanium implants for veterans' osteointegration.
