In the evolving landscape of international relations, information warfare has become crucial. On August 29, 2025, an event titled “Information Warfare: Challenges and Opportunities” took place in Kyiv, organized by the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Institute for National Security.

Prominent experts, diplomats, military personnel, and media representatives gathered to discuss issues of information security in a global context.

Before the forum began, participants paid tribute to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine's independence and to those affected by aggression.

“Our task is to identify new approaches to combat disinformation and strengthen strategic communications to ensure security,” stated one of the event organizers.
