The First Lady of Ukraine visited the inclusive summer camp «CosmoCamp: A Space for Everyone», organized with the financial support of Olena Zelenska Foundation.
Olena Zelenska engaged with children and their mentors, learned about the camp's program, and participated in various activities. The camp offers physical exercises, creative workshops, thematic games, and parties.
This summer, around one hundred children will enjoy the «CosmoCamp», including children with disabilities, those who have lost one or both parents due to the war, and children forced to relocate to safer regions.
«A state's capability is measured by its ability to support its most vulnerable citizens. We strive to provide help, protection, and support to those who need it the most – children with disabilities requiring rehabilitation and special attention. This is also part of the government's barrier-free strategy,» noted Olena Zelenska.
The NGO «See with Heart» has been organizing the «CosmoCamp» since 2016, creating a safe inclusive space for children with varied experiences and needs.
Psychosocial support for children, adolescents, and youth is one of the main priorities of the Olena Zelenska Foundation, which has helped organize rehabilitation camps for over 700 children across different regions of the country.
