The exhibition showcases unique items related to the signing of the Constitution, including the pen used to sign the Constitutional Law and Mykhailo Syrota's laptop.
In Kyiv, the National Museum of History of Ukraine has opened a new exhibition reflecting significant moments in the adoption of the Ukrainian Constitution. The display features items of great historical importance for our country.
Among the exhibits is the pen used by Oleksandr Moroz to sign the Law on the Constitution of Ukraine, an ink case, a Constitution with a personal inscription from MP Mykhailo Syrota, his laptop, and other important artifacts.
It should be noted that the Ukrainian Constitution was adopted overnight from June 27 to June 28, 1996, following a continuous session of the Verkhovna Rada. A minimum of 300 votes was required to approve each of the 160 articles. Ultimately, 321 deputies voted in favor, marking a significant step in establishing Ukraine's independence.
The museum invites everyone to visit the exhibition and recall the events that laid the foundations of Ukrainian statehood.
