In 2025, Kyiv is set to allocate 14 billion UAH for the modernization and restoration of infrastructure facilities as part of the Economic and Social Development Program for 2024-2026. This decision was made during a session of the Kyiv City Council.
According to the Department of Economy and Investments of the Kyiv City State Administration, 4 billion UAH will be directed towards capital investments, and 10 billion UAH will be for capital repairs.
Next year, funds will be used to restore facilities damaged due to military actions, as well as to update the housing stock through capital repairs, modernization, and elevator replacements, improving accessibility and energy efficiency, and constructing civil protection shelters.
Work will also continue on road infrastructure projects.
Funding will be allocated for the reconstruction of critical infrastructure facilities, which are vital not only for the capital but also for the surrounding region.
Next year, ensuring safe conditions for students in educational institutions will remain a priority. The program includes the construction of shelters and dual-purpose facilities in educational establishments.
Additionally, the city will continue to update social support and rehabilitation centers, as well as modernize health care facilities.
