Increase in Grain Transport to Ports of Greater Odesa

The number of wagons transporting grain to the ports of the Odesa region has significantly increased.

During the past week, the daily unloading of grain wagons at the ports of Greater Odesa rose by 77 units, reaching a total of 125 wagons per day, as stated in the report.

According to Valeriy Tkachev, the Deputy Director of the Transportation Technology and Commercial Operations Department at "Ukrzaliznytsia", the number of wagons carrying grain towards Odesa ports increased by 638 units daily.

This figure currently stands at 5992 units. The average daily unloading rate of grain has increased by 18 wagons, now totaling 1245 wagons per day.

Meanwhile, the number of wagons transporting grain to the Danube ports decreased by 97 units over the week, down to 77 units. The average daily unloading rate of grain also increased by 5 units, reaching 61 wagons per day, according to the report.
