On June 23, during an extraordinary session, the government decided to allocate over 22 billion UAH for the country’s restoration, sourced from international partners.

This was announced by Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

Of this amount, nearly 18.5 billion UAH from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will be directed towards healthcare, education, agriculture, humanitarian demining, and the recovery of municipal infrastructure.

Approximately 1.4 billion UAH from JICA has been allocated for energy sector recovery and training of deminers who are clearing Ukrainian land of mines.

Additionally, around 2.2 billion UAH of budget support from the European Union will be used for the restoration and modernization of port infrastructure.
