The Security Service of Ukraine has apprehended another spy who provided information about airstrikes targeting energy facilities in Kyiv. This individual was responsible for gathering data on the locations of heating power plants in the capital for the aggressor.
The investigation revealed that the culprit was a local resident who caught the attention of the occupiers while seeking job opportunities on social media.
After recruitment, she was dispatched to the Kyiv region to assess the technical condition of the heating plants following attacks.
Subsequently, her mission included monitoring military convoys in the Odesa and Chernihiv regions.
To gather intelligence, the agent settled in a hotel with a view of the railway station, using a camera to observe the movement of military equipment.
Counterintelligence operatives detained her with evidence of her criminal activities, including mobile devices and other materials.
Based on the collected evidence, she was charged with treason and is currently in custody, facing the possibility of life imprisonment.
