The State Bureau of Investigations is systematically uncovering supporters of the «Russian World». While our soldiers are fighting for freedom on the front lines, law enforcement has arrested another «waiter» who was working for the occupiers, trying to undermine our defense from within.
SBI employees, in cooperation with the SBU, identified that an inspector from the «Mykolaiv Pre-Trial Detention Center» actively supported shelling in Mykolaiv and the actions of the occupiers in pro-Russian Telegram channels. He spread pro-Russian slogans, advocated for the ruthless killing of Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters, and even called for Russia to shell the detention center where he worked to free traitors and collaborators under investigation.

The inspector has been detained and charged with committing criminal offenses under:

• Part 2, Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - the manufacture and distribution of materials that justify the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, initiated in 2014, as well as the glorification of individuals who carried out this aggression, committed repeatedly;
• Part 1 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - intentional actions aimed at inciting national hatred, humiliating national honor and dignity.

Preventive measure of detention has been chosen for the inspector. For his support of the occupiers, he faces up to 8 years in prison. The Mykolaiv regional prosecutor's office is leading the proceedings.
