A 53-year-old local man who shot at a father and son during a dispute faces a life sentence in prison. 

The event occurred on August 31 in Fastiv. After a verbal argument, the man went home, retrieved a weapon, and returned to confront his opponents. He fired several shots at the father and his 28-year-old son. The younger victim later died in the hospital, while his father is still fighting for his life under medical care.

The weapon has been seized, and the assailant was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Investigators have charged him with attempted murder of two individuals, intentional murder, and illegal possession of firearms. He faces up to 15 years in prison or life imprisonment for his actions.
