Recently, a traffic accident took place on the road connecting Skvyra and Samhorodok.
Preliminary investigations by law enforcement revealed that a 44-year-old driver of a VAZ, failing to maintain a safe speed and distance, collided with a Mercedes Sprinter that was turning towards the village of Shapiivka. As a result of the accident, the cargo vehicle overturned.
The 52-year-old Mercedes driver sustained injuries and was hospitalized.
Investigators from the Bila Tserkva District Police have opened a criminal case for violating traffic safety regulations that caused moderate bodily harm (Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
