A 23-year-old local resident, while under the influence of alcohol, stepped onto the road and obstructed drivers. When the bus driver pointed this out, the offender smashed the glass in the bus doors with his knee and started harassing passengers. 
Recently, the Kyiv police received a call from a bus driver reporting that a man was blocking public transport on the roadway. When asked to step aside, the drunken young man kicked in the glass of the bus doors, then entered the vehicle and began to bother the passengers.
Upon arrival, officers detained the 23-year-old troublemaker under Article 298-2 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He is currently held in a temporary detention facility.
The Dnipro Police Department has initiated a criminal investigation under Part 1 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for gross violation of public order. The man faces imprisonment for up to five years.
