The organizer and four accomplices have been charged, and preventive measures have been taken against them. They face up to 12 years in prison, along with asset confiscation.
Operatives from the Strategic Investigations Department in Kyiv, in collaboration with local police, documented the illegal activities of city residents led by a 30-year-old organizer.
Under his direction, the group distributed several kilograms of drugs monthly, including methadone, mephedrone, amphetamines, and cannabis.
Orders were sent to clients via mail or through stash drops. The total monthly revenue from the narcotics sales reached 5 million UAH.
On August 26, police conducted searches at the suspects' residences. Nearly 300 grams of the prohibited substance Alpha-PVP, electronic scales, packaging materials, communication devices, and smoking paraphernalia were seized.
The organizer and his accomplices are suspected under part 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. All are currently in custody.
The investigation continues under the supervision of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
