A 45-year-old man caused a shooting incident at the regional psychiatric hospital in Ternopil.

According to the press service, on Monday, August 25, at approximately 11:30 AM, the Ternopil district police received a report of a shooting at the hospital. Patrol officers found the perpetrator, a 45-year-old local resident, at the scene. During a preliminary check, they seized an object resembling a starter pistol from him. Preliminary data indicates that there were no injuries during the incident. Police are currently on site, gathering witness accounts to clarify all circumstances of the event. The question of holding the perpetrator accountable for hooligan actions is being considered.
