Cyber specialists from the Security Service of Ukraine have detained another agent working for the Russian side in Kharkiv. This informer turned out to be a former actor from a children's theater who provided data for correcting aerial strikes on the city.

The enemy aimed to target strategic objects, such as the bases of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

To gather information, the 61-year-old man photographed military locations, pretending to take normal walks around the city.

He marked buildings on Google Maps, believing they might house Ukrainian soldiers.

The collected data was sent to Russian special services via his acquaintance, who also studied at the acting faculty.

To ensure secrecy, they created an anonymous chat in a popular messenger.

The Security Service documented the informer's actions and detained him at an early stage of his intelligence activities, which helped protect the positions of the Defense Forces.

During searches at his residence, a phone was found that he used to gather information on potential targets.

The SBU investigators informed the detainee of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for unauthorized dissemination of information about the Armed Forces in wartime conditions.

The criminal is currently in custody and faces up to 8 years in prison.

The operation was conducted by SBU employees in the Kharkiv region under the guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
