A large weapons cache discovered in Kharkiv: Russian agents attempted to hide this arsenal for their sabotage groups

Counterintelligence agents of the Security Service of Ukraine, in collaboration with the State Bureau of Investigation, uncovered a secret stash of weapons and ammunition in Kharkiv.

According to the investigation, this cache was organized on the orders of Russian special services and was intended for sabotage groups in the Kharkiv region.

The illegal stash was located in one of the garages in the city.

During the searches, SBU and DBR employees found and seized a substantial amount of ammunition, including bullets for firearms, hand grenades, anti-tank mines, as well as several RPGs and their grenades.

Under the procedural supervision of the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, investigative actions are ongoing to determine the origin of the weapons and ammunition. All circumstances of this crime and other individuals potentially involved are being clarified.
