The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder of a man in the Desnyanskyi district of Kyiv.

A report of gunfire was received by law enforcement around 7 AM today.

Preliminary reports indicate that an unknown individual approached a parked car, where a man was seated, and fired a shot before fleeing the scene. The victim succumbed to his injuries.

Currently, a forensic team and criminal investigation department personnel are working at the scene, alongside canine units.

A criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for intentional murder. Measures are being taken to identify and apprehend the attacker.
