Detectives from the Territorial Administration of the BEB in Kyiv have uncovered and halted the operations of illegal gambling establishments in the capital.

The underground casinos were located in non-residential premises in the Sviatoshynskyi and Desnianskyi districts of Kyiv. Administrators allowed visitors in after ensuring no law enforcement was present through surveillance cameras.

Detectives conducted seven authorized searches at the locations of the illegal gambling establishments. During the investigation, property used for illicit access to online gambling was discovered and seized.

In total, over 150 sets of computer equipment, around 40 units of specialized furniture, networking equipment, notebooks, and household appliances were confiscated. The estimated value of the seized items is about 1.5 million UAH.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. The procedural guidance is provided by prosecutors from the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
