On the morning of April 18, a catastrophic event unfolded in Kharkiv as a Russian ballistic missile struck an apartment building, leaving one dead and over 60 injured.

Direct quote from Terekhov: "The enemy missile hit a densely populated area of Kharkiv. There is damage to a high-rise building. People may be trapped under the rubble".
Details: According to preliminary reports, the missile strike impacted residential buildings in the Osnovyansky district, injuring 20 individuals.
As per Terekhov's information, among the injured is a young child. The mayor also reported one fatality and 26 injured.
Direct quote from Terekhov: "Preliminary information indicates that Kharkiv was struck by ballistic missiles with cluster munitions. This is why the damage is extensive".
Details: According to Terekhov, 15 apartment buildings were affected.
Synehubov clarified that among the injured are two children aged 4 and almost 3 years. The number of injured has risen to 28.
Direct quote from Terekhov: "More than 20 apartment buildings and over 30 private residences have been affected. The number of injured has already reached 40".
Updated: In the morning, Terekhov added that the number of wounded has exceeded 60.
Thirteen people were hospitalized, including two children. Four individuals are in serious condition.
