Tragedy in Dnipro: Casualties from Drone Attack

A drone attack in Dnipro has resulted in three fatalities, including a child. Details and aftermath of the tragedy.

On the morning of April 17, rescuers reported sad news: the death toll from the drone attack on Dnipro has risen to three, including a child.

Direct quote: "Late in the evening (April 16 – ed.) the enemy attacked the city of Dnipro with drones. Three lives were taken, including one child. Preliminary reports indicate that 28 people were injured, four of whom are children".

Details: Residential buildings, student dormitories, educational institutions, food enterprises, and vehicles sustained damage during the attack.

Several fires broke out in the city due to the drone strike. All fires have been extinguished.

Update: 

  • Later, Serhiy Lysak reported that 30 people were affected by the Russian attack, including 5 children. Out of the 16 injured, one is in serious condition.

"In the city, around a dozen apartment buildings and as many private homes were severely damaged. The educational institution's building, dormitory, and gymnasium were also affected. Additionally, a food enterprise, post office, printing house, administrative building, and stores, as well as nearly 15 vehicles were damaged", – Lysak stated.

He added that air defense forces destroyed 10 drones over Dnipropetrovsk region.
