The Russian forces struck Kryvyi Rih.
On April 4, Russian troops launched a strike on Kryvyi Rih with an Iskander-M ballistic missile equipped with a cluster warhead, designed to inflict damage over a larger area.
The strike hit the center of a residential neighborhood, near a children's playground.
“The ballistic strike in the center of a residential area, next to a children's playground... The missile exploded in the air - intentionally to maximize casualties,” stated Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city's defense council.
The aftermath includes nearly two dozen apartment buildings destroyed, 6 educational institutions, a restaurant, and over 30 vehicles.
