Air Defense Forces Neutralize Missile Attacks

Latest updates on Ukraine's air defense and attack outcomes from February 12.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully neutralized 15 ballistic missiles of the "Iskander-M"/S-300 type, one Kh-59/69 missile, and 197 drones during Russian assaults that began on the evening of February 11. This was reported by the Air Force of Ukraine via Telegram.

From 6:00 PM on February 11, Russian forces launched 24 ballistic missiles from various regions, including Bryansk, Voronezh, and Rostov, as well as from occupied Crimea. The assault also involved guided X-59/69 missiles and 219 drones of different types launched from directions including Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Bryansk. About 150 of these drones were of the Shahed type.

The main targets of the strikes included Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Odesa.

Air defense was supported by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 9:00 AM on February 12, our forces had shot down or suppressed 213 aerial targets:

  • 15 ballistic missiles of the "Iskander-M"/S-300 type;
  • one guided air-to-surface missile Kh-59/69;
  • 197 drones.

Reported hits included 9 missiles and 19 drones at 13 locations, with debris falling at 14 sites.

The attack continues, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.

On the night of February 12, Russian forces launched a combined mass attack on Lozova in the Kharkiv region, reportedly using ballistic missiles and strike drones "Geran-2". A man and a woman were killed, and six others were injured.
