Ukrainian Air Forces reported that 135 out of 165 drones used in an attack from Monday evening have been neutralized. This information was shared via Telegram.
Starting from 6 PM on January 26, the enemy launched 165 strike UAVs, including Shahed types, "Herbera", "Italmas", and other drones from directions including Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), Gvardeyskoye, and Chayuda (temporarily occupied Crimea). Approximately 100 of these were Shahed drones.
The assault was countered effectively by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 8 AM on Tuesday, January 27, air defense had downed/neutralized 135 UAVs across northern, southern, central, and eastern Ukraine.
There were 24 confirmed hits on 14 different locations, with debris falling in 9 areas.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
In Odesa, there may be three individuals trapped under the rubble following the Russian strike.
